The Surprise Visitor

Opportunity is in no mood to send a messenger
Carrying a statement of her busy itinerary
She is a queen, won't bother issuing you a schedule
That details her planned visits to your doorsteps
Like a surprise visitor, she comes unannounced
Expecting you to be ready to accommodate her
She expects you to anticipate her around the clock

That Time Will Always Come

Destiny is just like the egg
The time will always come
When it will surely hatch
So long as you keep it warm
So long as it has all the care
Out will come the long held joy

A Positive Perspective

It came in my darkened mind
Like a bright dawn in the morn
That brings the first ray of the day
Promising a day so bright in sight
Clearing away the hapless darkness
It was a voice in the head that said:
In fact, all is well as far as I can tell
The mind just needed a light in the night
