A Positive Perspective

It came in my darkened mind
Like a bright dawn in the morn 
That brings the first ray of the day
Promising a day so bright in sight
Clearing away the hapless darkness
It was a voice in the head that said:
In fact, all is well as far as I can tell
The mind just needed a light in the night


It came in my gloomy and foggy mind
Like a hyper windscreen wiper
That cleared away the grim grime
That was obstructing the mind screen
Giving it a beautiful view of the bold world
