The only way to reach the destination is to not stop walking
Under no circumstance should the feet freeze and cut progress

When Great Rome is built, it is not built in a day
It takes a whole day to add just one brick
For one brick to be laid, the sun labors from dawn to dusk
Till the numerous bricks all come together
To give Great Rome its elegance and grace
Each time you try again
The obscurity becomes clearer
Cracks begin to appear in the colossus
The impossible no longer seems impossible
It begins to settle deep down that it is possible
It is at that moment when thunder roars
In the dark sky, and the flash flood rages
And the earthquake rumbles and grumbles
That the realization sinks deep down
How wise and sensible it was that years ago
While planning and building the house
The foundation got devoted attention
Sacrifices were made to build it strong
Knowing that every drop of sweat was a must
When your lane is congested and slow
Your eyes and heart are evermore
Envying those on the other lane
That is going in the opposite direction
That is so free and fast in motion
But only by staying put on your lane
And fighting off the temptation
Will the arrival be a revolution
Can a cake really be made in a heartbeat?

There is time when the cake must be baked
When ingredients must be dutifully gathered
When the flour must be carefully measured
And into the super bowl ceremoniously emptied
When the eggs must be nicely scrambled

When the milk, the sugar and the butter

For those who have a destiny to pursue
Their path has a destination they must reach
Only by staying on that road their peace is found
No matter the price it demands, they are happy to pay
Away from any clueless plain road they will run
For it lacks direction and promises meaningless bliss
Their whole life is pursuing what is meaningful to them
Intolerable to them is the easy road that leads nowhere
A thorny path that leads to their dream is more preferable
The huddles and risks along the way are huge and ruthless
But the destination they desire is even bigger and priceless
It dwarfs the impossible odds challenging their zeal
They are out to prove that mountains can be moved
Non-negotiable is the matter of pursuing their destiny
Their zeal for their destiny is one that no hammer can crush
