A Blanket in Tatters

Everyone is pulling on the blanket in every direction
Everyone wants it to be in his possession
Putting up a ferocious fight to have it all to himself
To everyone what matters is his own self

When it was one united massive mountain
It was mighty, strong and most formidable

When unity was guarded most jealously
There was peace, power and true prosperity

The Paradox of Humankind

A kind infinitely caring and kindhearted the humans are
Their lovely homes, their comfort, they readily abandon
And go to distant places to feed abandoned strangers
To clothe them and steal away their miseries and tears
To replace their sorrows with embraces of affection

The Peace Dilemma

May there be peace in the world!
May everyone exercise utmost restraint
Fleeing like hell from the urge to mime
May there be no more cruel wars on earth
Conflicts deserve only to die and be buried
May peace deals always emerge victorious

Don't Be a Murderer

Before you unleash that blade
And spill that sacred blood
Before you flex that finger
And then pull that trigger
Before you set that bomb
To send many to the tomb
Can you fellow create that life
Other than bring more strife?
Can you fill the void so left
Unique matchless that cleft?
