It is not a work of accident
Nor a hand of chance
Nor a matter of luck
There is no catapult to send one
Flying to the top like a stone
It is wanted and desired
Planned and pursued
Believed and made possible
The climb to the top is intentional
Deliberate and purposeful
The road is unpaved and rugged
Uncertain and challenging
Steep and winding
You spend years paving your own way
There is no retreat till the summit is conquered
Unlike the the way down, when you may let yourself in free fall to the bottom, they way to the top is an effort.
