The Brighter Side of Things

When you look on the brighter side of things
The night ceases harboring thieves and thugs
It becomes lit up by multitudes of twinkling stars
In their full glory across the dazzlingly vast skies
Such a sight that awe and admiration inspires

The Double Edged Future

The optimist stretches his eyes and sees the invisible future
And says, "It is bright, promising and so beautiful a future!"
His heart is eagerly looking forward to its approach
That it may speedily reach the present moment and find him
The future, in its treasure box, holds delicious opportunities
