Fear is a Roadblock

It is a roadblock on the road
An enemy of the very inner peace
A menace that quashes the hopes
Forcing you cowering into a corner
Stopping you from reaching success 
Bringing your progress to a halt
A hindrance that must be eliminated
Before the wheels can move forward
Fear and success can't share a room
You can only choose one of them
And that is choosing between
Standing still and moving forward

It must not be allowed to repose
Inside the heart or the mind
There should be no room for fear
Play not the willing host to fear
Should it show up and start knocking 
Shut the doors, lock those doors
Let it chill outside in the cold
If in secret it does sneak inside
Gather your courageous armies
Arm to the teeth and confront fear
Fight till all the heart is clear of fear
Till the road shines bright again
