Dream Big

Let the dreams shoot up high and tall
As the lofty and majestic Mount Everest
That with certain pride hovers mightily
And with much confidence over the entire world
As for doubts, they murder the precious dreams
That are a lifeline to a progressive march
Hand the murderous doubts a guilty verdict
And give them a tough life sentence
To the confinement of a dark prison
Away from the big dreams

There is no room for hesitation but courage
Dream as grandly as the Pacific Ocean
That in its beautiful azure grandeur
Boldly embraces the wide world
But as for doubts, they are treacherous schemers
That will ruthlessly oppress colorful dreams
And render them comatose and so, dormant
Like all treasonous criminals, doubts
Belong only in a dark remote penitentiary
Without the possibility of parole to be confined

Let the dreams soar as high as the
Brightest stars in the glory of the skies
Give them such powerful and decisive wings
Such wings whose span knows no limit
But as for doubts kick them out of the driving seat
Like mosquitoes and frogs they like stagnant waters
They have their feet on the brakes forever
Such as to never allow the march forward
Let these doubts rot behind bars forever
Never to see the light of day again
