A Trek From School

Like soldiers coming back home
From a war fought down to the bottom
We marched on to the beckoning freedom

Our boots were dusty and dirty
Our throats were dry of thirsty
Stomachs were drawn and empty

We were tired but mightily triumphant
We were worn out but insanely rampant
Our brains so trained but sharply gallant

That was a march of our brave victory
To ignorance it was a bitter valedictory
More power and fire to our lively factory
